al Veneer has recently launched the limited edition “Tribute” Vespa. The limited edition Vespa is inspired by the iconic 1960’s Italian mahogany speedboats and aims to showcase the technology behind their work and its capability.

Each brand new Vespa is transformed through the hands of an expert craftsman into an authentic work of art. The design elements from the legendary speedboats are accurately recreated through the use of the rich Digital Veneer™ Mahogany mirror finish and the impeccable hand stitched leather seats. With each Vespa carrying a numbered limited edition silver plaque, the “Tribute” Vespa is bound to be a unique addition to any superyacht and luxury estate owners and Vespa collectors worldwide.

As the book is to go to boat shows around the world, it has huge potential to promote the capable NZ marine industry and its tradespeople. So working with the owner, our team created a project model where we gave the suppliers of Black Pearl the opportunity to support the production of the book. Many of the suppliers jumped on board, in a real team effort led by Studio Q!

The book is the epitome of our inhouse capabilities. Designed in line with the simple yet modern characteristics of the yacht, the book is clean and simple with good use of white space and a hint of the Black Pearl orange. The book incorporates unusual features and unique layouts, showing off our design abilities. The books were printed inhouse with paper specifically chosen for its exceptional qualities, then beautifully bound, making the end result flawless!

Studio Q is also designing and developing the Black Pearl charter website to inform and update the world about chartering Black Pearl. The website will adopt a design and feel consistent with the yacht and the book: it is simple, easy to navigate and visually appealing.
